We cannot operate the Garden without backers like YOU. As we near the end of 2017, we reflect on the accomplishments your giving made possible:
-Phase III of the Sam M. Wellborn Camellia Garden COMPLETED!
-Sally H. Adams Vegetable Terraces COMPLETED…giving us the opportunity to “pay it forward” as we were able to share the bounty produced in this garden with the patients of Mercy Med.
-Our Mothers’ Rose Garden COMPLETED and awaiting this spring rose season!
-Planning of innovative programs and educational activities, which will take advantage of both the new and expanded gardens.
-Addition of a new volunteer manned Welcome Desk, providing visitors with both basic information about our garden and historical data related to the structures found on the property.
We appreciate you, and others like you who have helped us with our rapidly expanding footprint. We are ready to share all of this with our community and “pay it forward” not only through the sharing of our produce, but also through the aforementioned educational opportunities and the often overlooked…free and welcoming, beautiful place for respite for every age and socioeconomic level.
We hope you are able to continue to “have our back” by keeping us in your YEAR-END GIVING plans.
