SAMPOSIUM

Bird fever, which in some blossoms into a bona-fide addiction, is something that we plan to embrace and promote during our upcoming two-day Sam Pate Naturalist Symposium at the Columbus Botanical Garden. Named in memory of a local and regional birding luminary and nature-lover extraordinaire, this inaugural festival for Sam Pate will feature both a day of family activities aimed at introducing children and parents to the wonderful world of birds, as well as a day of lectures on all-things ornithological.

Annual Plant Sale

Plant Sale is an opportunity to purchase plants not commonly found in Big-Box retailers. The focus on quality and variety makes this plant sale very special.  CBG will select the majority of inventory and offer them to you at reasonable prices!  Selected vendors also make this a must shop sale. Expect to find many native species and proven pollinator attractors in the selection offered. Workshops and how-to classes through out the day as well as Food Trucks and other Garden and Art related vendors included.

Lunch and Learn

Our monthly Lunch and Learn is an opportunity to learn more about horticulture, sustainability, wildlife, flower design, and healthy living topics. Lunch and Learns are taught by instructors that have years of experience, knowledge and training in their field. We encourage you to bring your lunch to enjoy with the group after each lecture.  Our volunteers provide a side dish, dessert and beverages for you to add to your lunch. Third Wednesday of the month, 11:00-1:00 pm.

Nankipooh Music Series

Enjoy live acoustic and indie acts in the garden.  Concerts, food trucks, local brews and good times!  Join your community garden to great live music.
