Budding Naturalist – March 9th

1st-5th Graders

Naturalists will learn about hydrology and create their own water cycle experiments! Learn about 3 different aspects of the atmospheric cycle, including cloud formation, watersheds and groundwater, and then create your own experiment for each!

$5 for member / $7 nonmember per child. Free entry for 1 caretaker.


Budding Naturalist is a monthly program that will ignite children’s curiosity and interest in science and the natural world through observation, exploration, hands-on activities and data collection.

Each hour-long session will include a lesson focused on elements and processes of the natural world and a hands-on activity to reinforce the day’s lesson, consisting of observation/experimentation, data collection and analysis.

This event occurs on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 10:00 – 11:00am.
