Marvelous Monarchs

Naturalists will learn all about the amazing world of monarch butterflies, including how, when and why they migrate and how scientists keep track of them by tagging!

Discoverers: 1st – 3rd Graders

Budding Naturalist is a monthly program that will ignite children’s curiosity and interest in science and the natural world through observation, exploration, hands-on activities and data collection.

Each hour-long session will include a lesson focused on elements and processes of the natural world and a hands-on activity to reinforce the day’s lesson, consisting of observation/experimentation, data collection and analysis.

This event occurs on the 1st Wednesday of every month from 5:30PM- 6:30PM
