PRIVATE EVENTS

General Information

  • When is the garden open?
    We are open Tuesday - Sunday from 9am to 5pm with last entry at 4pm. Hours vary seasonally.
  • Where should I park?
    You can park anywhere in the Garden parking lot. Please do not park in the church parking lot across the street.
  • When is the best time to visit?
    The garden is beautiful year-round! Our Camellias are in bloom January-March, Roses are putting on a show from April-October, our Vegetable Garden is vibrant all twelve months, annual displays are changed twice a year, and our flowering trees, shrubs and perennials are showstoppers from March-November!
  • What is there to see?

  • What does it cost to visit?
    General Admission to the Garden is $12.00 for Adults. $8 for ages 2-17. Ages 1 and under are free. Members always enter FREE - Learn more about Memberships
  • Is the Garden accessible to wheelchairs?
    Our Cottage Garden and Farmhouse are wheelchair accessible, as is our Rose Garden, and the Perennial and Gingko Shade Gardens. As we develop more of the gardens, we will be upgrading areas so that we can be accessible in most of the garden.
  • Are there restroom facilities?
    Restrooms can be found outside adjacent to the farmhouse and are are open from 9am to 5pm.
  • Can I bring my dog?
    Dogs are welcome on the JoAnn Holt Walking Trail on non-retractable leashes no longer than six feet. Dogs are not allowed in any other part of the botanical garden.
  • Do you have a gift shop?
    Gifts are available at our ticket booth and our online shop.
  • Is there someplace to eat?
    Although there is no food available for purchase at the garden, we are close to Columbus Park Crossing, where you can find a variety of restaurants on Whittlesey Blvd.
  • Do you host events?
    The Columbus Botanical Garden offers a diverse array of programs and events during the year. Please visit our Annual Events, Lifelong Learning, and Children’s Programs pages to learn more!
  • Do you give tours?
    Yes! Please visit our Garden Tours page to decide which tour is right for you and your group.
  • Do you have volunteers?
    We do! To learn more about our volunteer program, or to register as a volunteer, please visit our Become a Volunteer page. We look forward to meeting you!
  • Do you have a photo & videography policy?
    Guests are welcome to take photos and videos for personal use. However, all professional photography sessions must abide by the Garden photography policy.

    Guests are welcome to take photos and videos for personal use. However, all professional photography sessions must abide by the Garden photography policy.
  • COVID-19
    Be advised, outdoor amenities such as benches, handrails, etc. are not sanitized and may pose a risk for transmitting the COVID – 19 virus, so please use caution and follow CDC health and safety guidelines. We encourage the use of social distancing protocols when interacting with other guests not in your group. We do not require masks for fully vacinated individuals, however kindly request you continue to wear a mask when interacting with others if you are not fully vaccinanted. We will continue to follow the CDC guidelines, and so these protocols may change if required by new CDC guidelines.
