While the kids are out of school, join us at the Garden for spring break! Come enjoy nature themed activities with new and fun themes every day!

Tuesday, April 1 - Sensory Safari

Kick off spring break enjoying all that nature has to offer with all 5 senses! Appreciate the colors of the garden with a scavenger hunt, create a wind chime to add to your own garden or yard, enjoy the smells of a garden with herb play dough and test your touch to see if you can guess garden textures with your eyes closed. 

Wednesday, April 2 - Earth Warriors Wednesday

Become a superhero for the planet at the Columbus Botanical Garden and create your own eco-friendly super hero accessories, compete in the recycle relay, make a seed sphere and learn the principles for saving our planet one earth warrior at a time.

Thursday, April 3 - Mud Pie Mania

A little dirt never hurt! Come make a muddy masterpiece with mud art, a delectable mud pie in our mud kitchen area and learn about the importance of soil, composting and all about some of the creatures that call the soil their home.Come prepared to get a little muddy, and leave with big smiles and a greater appreciation for the wonders of nature.

Friday, April 4 - Fairytale Friday

Join us in experiencing the magic of the garden and closing out spring break week with Fairytale Friday. Come dressed as your favorite fairytale creature, make a nature crown, play in our potions station, and take a seat to enjoy a fairytale storytime. This is a day you don’t want to miss that is sure to bring out a child like wonder in kids and adults alike!
